Back to Environmental Stewardship Read about Corporate Social Responsibility

We provide safe and healthy working conditions, use fair hiring practices, treat our workers and employees with dignity and respect, and adhere to environmentally responsible practices in manufacturing.

Our Code of Conduct incorporates international best practices in the areas of Labor and Human Rights, Health and Safety, Environmental Impact, Ethics, and Management Commitment.

In doing business, we fully comply with all applicable national and local laws and regulations including, but not limited to, those relating to labor and employment, immigration, health and safety, intellectual property, corruption, and the environment.
Employment in our company is purely voluntary. We adopt a zero-tolerance policy on indentured labor, trafficking, slavery, or child labor.
We provide our workers and employees with reasonable working hours and proper rest days as required by law.
We implement hiring practices that accurately verify workers’ age and legal right to work in the country prior to employment. All terms and conditions of employment including, but not limited to, hiring, pay, training, promotion, termination, and retirement must be based on an individual’s ability and willingness to do the job.
We compensate all our workers and employees fairly with wages, overtime premiums, and benefits that meet or exceed standards required by law.
Our workers and employees are allowed the right to join associations and trade unions if required by law.
We provide our workers and employees with a safe and healthy workplace that (1) has in place adequate fire and life safety measures, systems, and equipment; (2) is free of harmful pollution, toxic material and waste; (3) has in place measures to prevent accidents and injury at work; and (4) has adequate emergency preparedness and responses as may be required by law.

We take proactive measures to prevent workplace hazards and accidents. We provide residential and dining facilities for our employees which are safe, hygienic, healthy, and with proper sanitary facilities.
We are compliant with local environmental laws and practices including, but not limited to those pertaining to waste disposal (proper handling of toxic and hazardous waste, segregation, where regulated, etc.), air emissions, pollution discharges, etc.
We do not engage in any activities which infringe the intellectual property rights of anyone.
Our Company is committed to conducting business without undue influence. Our Code requires us to exercise good judgment and practice moderation in giving and receiving business gifts and entertainment.
We do not provide entertainment, gifts or other benefits (which are lavish, excessive or expensive) that could in any way be construed as, or give the appearance of, attempting to influence business decisions in favor of any person or organization with whom we may have business dealings.
We do not enter into transactions with our customers’ employees that create a conflict of interest.
We are committed to abiding by all laws and regulations, or if necessary, exceeding them to prevent bribery and corruption wherever we do business.

We prohibit offering, paying, soliciting or receiving (whether directly or otherwise) any form of bribe as an inducement or reward for any business transaction with our customers. The term “bribe” broadly includes any illicit advantage such as (but is not limited to) cash, cash equivalents, property, loans, commissions, services, benefits in kind or other advantages.
We treat our workers with dignity and respect and we prohibit using corporal punishment, threats of violence or other forms of physical, sexual, psychological or verbal harassment or abuse on our workers and employees.

We adopt non-discriminatory employment practices in areas such as wages, salary, benefits, advancement, discipline, termination, or retirement.
We keep accurate records of all matters related to our business with our customers in accordance with standard accounting practices such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reposting Standards (IFRS).
We are responsible for communicating the requirement of the Code to our employees. Our Code of Conduct is made freely available to our employees in their local language and in a readily accessible place.

We maintain records of all relevant documentation necessary to demonstrate compliance with the Code and related laws and regulations, and where requested, we agree to make these documents available for our designated auditor as evidence of compliance. Where appropriate, we permit inspections to have complete access to our workplaces, sites and facilities for verification purposes in line with our Code.
We respect the human rights of the communities in which we operate. We strive to improve the communities in which we operate.
